This camp is designed to prepare the players for the upcoming Magic Soccer season. The camp combines a strong emphasis on physical preparation, decision-making, and tactic to enhance soccer development. Regardless of the player’s technique level – the player must be fit and be taught how to think in order to play fast and effectively. This camp targets both cardiovascular and anaerobic training as well as speed, agility and strength training. Magic soccer “pre-season camp ” also teaches the players what it takes to learn how to think in the game as well as understand, and play fast at higher levels.
The camp is 3 days long with an inclusive training partnership with Sanford Power. Players trains twice on Saturday and Sunday. Each player participates in a forty-five-minute fitness training session emphasizing cardio and anaerobic, speed, agility and strength in the morning. In the afternoon, players participate a soccer decision-making training. The afternoon training session will conclude with a scrimmage allowing players the opportunity to apply the topics covered in the training session into a live match environment.
