The adult 7v7  outdoor league plays on Sunday nights at Cottonwood park in Bismarck.

Coed/Recreational and Competitive division settings are typically offered.  True coed rosters are not mandated for the recreational division, but it's suggested that each team have at least two female players per roster to ensure fair competition.

The objective of the league is to provide structured, evenly matched, quality competition while also fostering a fun, friendly, and safe playing environment.

Games are played under the following format:

• 7 v 7 (including GK)
• Medium sized playing fields (50 yd X 90 yd)
• 60 minute matches (two 30 minute halves)
• 2-man referee system
• 10 player minimum per team roster
• Games between 4:00 and 9:00 PM

Due to the inability to schedule double-headers in the outdoor season, and limited options for additional match days, we often require an even number of teams on the schedule. Teams are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis in the event an odd number of teams register for the league.  A team will not be considered fully registered until they have met the mandatory minimum player count of 10 completed registrants.

This season there will be a single coed/rec division offered that is open to players of all skill levels. 

If there is a sufficient number of teams participating in the league, and the characteristics of the teams registered are judged to be unbalanced with one-another, we will then look at forming multiple divisions to promote parity of competition each match week.

High school players age 16 and older are welcome to participate in the recreational division so long as parental consent has been given.

Season Information:

• Season begin date September 11
• Season end date October 16
• Games between 4:00 and 7:30 PM
• Registration fee of $20 per player
• Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 7th
• Kickoff times in September will be 5:15 or 6:30 PM.  Games may be moved an hour earlier to start at 4:00 PM in October to avoid daylight issues.
• With a 4 team league, the format will be round-robin plus a final two weeks of playoffs.
• With a 6 team league, the format will be round-robin with the  final week having a championship, 3rd place, and 5th place match based on final regular season standings.  OR Two divisions of three, having a double-round robin within the division, with the final two weeks being a cross-division playoff format.

We will make every effort to fully staff each game with a full referee crew. However, due to the ongoing referee shortage in Bismarck/Mandan some games may only have one referee assigned or may even need to be self-officiated if a referee cannot be recruited that weekend.

Players wanting to participate in league but who do not currently have a team are encouraged to register individually. 

League organizers will make every effort to place you on a team in the division of your choice, however please keep in mind that when registering individually we cannot guarantee entry, as there are sometimes constraints that will prevent placement on other rosters.
