2020 Season Plan

Dear Members,

Our club received communication from US Club Soccer on May 14 to lift the national suspension of youth soccer activities and delegated return-to-play, effective May 18.

Magic Soccer F.C’s Admin and Coaching Staff  have met and decided to resume our Skills Training, Competitive, and League  programming. The skills training is scheduled for May 19 - 22, the summer competitive is May 25 - July 25.  Each member is expected to strictly follow state and local guidelines for the resumption of play. 

PLEASE NOTE: OUR INSURANCE IS ONLY IN EFFECT IF PARENTS AND PLAYERS ARE CONSISTENT WITH LOCAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES.

Magic Soccer F.C COVID 19 Training guidelines: 

a)  Players must provide their own Soccer balls and Water. b) Parents will be asked to stay in vehicles before, during, and after training sessions. c) Training group sizes will be limited to nine to eight players and one coach, to allow for proper social distancing on the field. d) All training equipment used by staff; bibs, balls, cones… etc will be cleaned at the end of each session. e) Parents must educate their kids about social distancing f)If Players think they have been exposed to COVID‑19 and develop a fever and symptoms please do not come to practice g) Above Magic Soccer guidelines all players and parents must be  in compliance with detailed health and safety protocols that were created in consultation with medical and infectious disease experts.  All our training, small groups and individual workouts are voluntary and may not be in conflict with local public health official or government policies.

Members must abide by the requirements/guidelines established by their state and local public health authorities. Beyond that, each player must follow our restriction rules above in red and must sign the compliance waiver before the player can participate in our training session.  

Here is the season plan and registration info:

SKILLS TRAINING - May 19, 20, 21,22

1.  We will rollover all registered players from the last block to this week skills training.

2. Players  who did not register can click on the program link below to register. They can pick one or all 4 sessions. Players will be billed $10 for each session.

3. Training will be done on a small group set up and spread out over the Cottonwood Fields. You will receive an email from our admin by Monday, May 18 for you to know what field to drop your child off.

• Footskills (Basic, Intermediate, and Advance)

• When: May 19, 20, 21, & 22  

• Practice Time: 5pm - 5:45 pm

• Where: Cottonwood Soccer Complex (Refer to email to find your group field location)

• Price: $10/session if you didn't register for the last block

• Register here ONLY for players who did not register for the last block.

• Finishing, GK and Defending Clinic 

•                 - When: May 19, 20, 21, & 22  

•                 - Practice Time: 6pm - 6:45 pm

•                 - Where: Cottonwood Soccer Complex (Refer to email to find your group field location)

• Price: $10/session if you didn't register for the last block

SUMMER COMPETITIVE  - May 25 - JULY 25

1. The first week of training will be considered as tryouts. (All players need to register)

2.  The deadline to accept your spot NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, MAY 23 AT MIDNIGHT to avoid being left out.

3. Players will be trained in a small group setting until ND State Health restrictions are lifted.

4. Tournaments: TBD - There may not be any tournament play this summer. We will send you an update. If any they will be optional.

5. Local League Games: We are planning to play small sided Intersquad league games beginning July if ND state restrictions are lifted. The games will be small sided 7 V 7. We will be looking at playing games on Thursdays in July 2, 9, 16, 23. 

6. Jamboree: We will end the season with a jamboree between MSFC, Minot, and Dickinson again this is only if ND state restrictions are lifted. The event is scheduled for July 24.

7. After you completed your registration you will receive a step by step checklist message from our admin to get your child fully ready for the season.

8. Players need to be registered for the Tryout, if you have not done so already, in order to receive a roster spot.

9. Uniforms are available for rental (Uniform Rental Form) You can fill out the form and email to the admin. NB Rental Uniforms are limited it will be on first come first serve.

  • U9-12 Boys & Girls Tuesdays & Thursdays (schedule will be sent by your team manager after registration)

  • U13-19 Boys & Girls Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (schedule will be sent by your team manager after registration)

• Price: $180 + plus $15 admin fees  

• Scholarships: Email admin for application form
