Adult 7 v 7 Summer League Registration

By Alex Halvorson, 05/15/19, 10:45AM CDT

Sunday Nights Starting June 2

2019 Adult Summer League

The adult 7v7  outdoor league will begin June 2nd, with games being played on Sunday nights at Cottonwood park in Bismarck.

This season there will be a single coed/rec division offered that is open to players of all skill levels.  True coed rosters will not be mandated, but it's suggested that each team have at least two female players per roster to ensure fair competition. The intent of the division is to provide structured, evenly matched, quality competition while also fostering a fun, friendly, and safe playing environment.

If there is a sufficient number of teams participating in the league, and the characteristics of the teams registered are judged to be unbalanced with one-another, we will then look at forming multiple divisions to promote parity of competition each match week.

Games will be run under the following format:

  • 7 v 7 (including GK)
  • Medium sized playing fields (50 yd X 90 yd)
  • 60 minute matches (two 30 minute halves)
  • 2-man referee system
  • 10 player minimum per team roster
  • Season begin date June 2nd
  • Season end date August 4th
  • Games between 6:00 and 9:00 PM
  • Registration fee of $40 per player
  • Registration deadline for new teams is Sunday, May 26th

Due to the inability to schedule double-headers in the summer season, and limited options for additional match days, we often require an even number of teams on the schedule. Teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis in the event an odd number of teams register for the league.  A team will not be considered fully registered until they have met the mandatory minimum player count of 10 completed registrants.

Unattached/Free Agent Players:

Players wanting to participate but who do not currently have a team are encouraged to register individually.  League organizers will attempt to place you on a team, but placement is not guaranteed as there are sometimes constraints that will prevent placement.
